presents...

ATTACK OF THE ZOMBIE KING!

      (781) 270-4800

Residential Camp located in Central Massachusetts

Day Adventures located in Burlington, Massachusetts

A long time ago in a land of legend, a small village sent a message across time and distance to a select few brave Adventurers... pleading for you to rescue them from the evil undead creatures that haunt their lands.

Will you answer their call, travel through the magical Gate of Destiny, and live the story that most people only read about?  Will you face down the Zombie King and his terrible minions to lift the curse from the land?

Great tales will be told for years to come of your deeds.  But only if you survive!

Join us, brave Hero.  Your adventure awaits you...

At our Summer Camp campers will start their week designing a character, complete with history, culture and special skills.  Then, for the entire week, the campers (now called "Adventurers") will engage in live role playing scenarios, exciting foam weapon battles, and challenging plots with our Staff until they leave Friday afternoon.

Our entire event is designed to challenge campers with scenarios that require teamwork, creative problem solving, negotiation skills, bravery, imagination and more.  Through creative role play, campers don't just learn valuable life skills - they get to actively practice them!  This practice time allows a deeper level of understanding and retention.

The life of an Adventurer is never dull.   Check out some of the activities you can experience...

Armor Making:  Our Armor Smith will help you create your own pieces of chainmail or leather armor. Learn the techniques and equipment necessary for starting your own suit of armor and bring it home

Giant Chess:  Play (or learn to play) chess on our Giant-Sized Chess Board... but if you beat the local Werewolf, you'd better have your sword and friends near by!

Weapons Training:  Visit the Master-At-Arms to learn how to use your Foam Weapons... and incorporate team tactics so that your group can withstand the hordes of undead that haunt the night.

Solve the Riddles:  Visit the old Librarian to learn about the history of the town... and why it is haunted by the various evil creatures.  Search the scrolls for answers... but first you need to learn Latin!

Mix Potions:  Our Alchemy Guild will help you brush up on your chemistry and mix up various potions necessary to seal the tombs, identify cursed treasure and unveil secret messages.

Treasure Hunt:  To rid the land of evil, you must gather the ancient items and unlock their mysteries so that they can help you in your plight against the dark forces that terrorize the villagers.

Storytelling:  What good is a grand adventure if you don't have a chance to brag about it?  Learn how to weave a fantastic tale and help the local scribe record your deeds in the giant tome so that they are preserved for years to come.  Imagine returning to camp years later to see your character mentioned in the history of this grand adventure.  Reading a book is fun... but imagine having a book written about you and your friends!

Dungeon Crawling:  Need some action?  There's always something going on in the deep, dark, haunted dungeons that hold treasure, monsters and quite possibly... traps of death!

Register today and find out if you have the courage, creativity and quick reactions necessary to survive and save the village in this heroic tale where YOU decide the outcome.

Make this summer an Adventure to remember!

WORCESTER FENCING CLUB

So You Want to Be a Movie Star
Learn the thrilling craft of Stage Combat and star in an independent film with your fellow campers!
Three Sessions in 2008!
February 18-22 * August 4-10 * August 11-22

www.worcesterfencing.com/campFeb2008.html

Are you ready for a camp experience that's truly unique? There's nothing else like it out there!
Throughout the session, campers learn the art of stage combat: how to kick, punch, stab, and slash without actually hurting anyone (but boy, does it look real!). They watch and study classic and modern movies to learn what makes a fight dramatic, convincing, or comic, as the situation demands. On the final day, an independent film company shoots the campers in an original movie developed just for them.

We supply the weapons; you supply the creativity. Previous acting or fencing experience is a plus, but by no means necessary.
Camps take place at the Worcester Fencing Club, the only such facility in the area. Decorated in Medieval style, the club is the place where great memories and friendships are made.

Each camper receives a copy of the movie to as a gift from the Worcester Fencing Club.

This adventure is for campers between the ages of twelve and eighteen.

ALL WATER...ALL THE TIME - THIS IS THE PLACE TO LEARN WATERSKIING

We are a small (enrollment limited to about 30 girls each session), close knit, family style camp.  We're looking for the girl who truly loves the water, especially the chance to learn water skiing and get as good as she likes in a short time.  From a beginner to one ski in less than two weeks, trick skiing, slalom couse, and a regulation jump ramp.

We have a strong kayaking, sailing, windsurfing program, banana boating, water trampoline, and all sorts of things in the new regulation pool (being completed in May).  Tubing on a nearby river, exploration of our two islands (just offshore of our mile of lakefront on a very quiet nine mile lake).

We take day and overnight trips where the entire camp goes.  Two-three days in Boston...shopping...theater...duck tours..   Three-four days in Canada...rides on the reversing falls...time in the indoor olympic pool complex...shopping.

When our mothers enter our cabins, they will truly not believe what is waiting for their daughters....duplicated nowhere else in camping.  Our campers will just be amazed at what is before them...every camper will write and e-mail friends about what they have at Snowy Owl and how things happen.

And then the food coming from our two, private female chefs.  Healthy, freshly prepared dishes and choices in never-ending abundance.  Limitless goumet ice cream. Fruit, snacks, and juices at all times.  Foods our girls like...that is also good for them.

Girls who respect each other...big sister/little sister program and activities...supervised (truly, Dads) socials with good boys camps...a place where every day is truly an adventure, and lasting memories are made by all.

Tuition and fees that are realistic and a rollback to years previous.  Snowy Owl, for a few girls fortunate enough to see in our website something that speaks to them,  what camping can be.
